Seniwati Art Space is pleased to present "A Full Life!", an exhibition of mixed media art by Filipino-Canadian artist PAULINA CONSTANCIA. Please join us on Monday, March 25 at 7 pm for the exhibition opening and to meet the artist.

A special women’s workshop with Paulina is also scheduled for Sunday, March 24 at 4 pm. Exhibition will run from March 25 to 29. Gallery hours are from 10 am to 5 pm daily.

Most people in Bali are familiar with the Seniwati Art Space, but for the benefit of those who aren’t, here is a little information about the gallery. Established in 1991, Seniwati Art Space (In Indonesian: Seni is art, Wati means women) shows and sells works by women artists from Bali, other parts of Indonesia and overseas. The gallery also regularly hosts children’s art activities.

True to its commitment to supporting women artists, Seniwati welcomed the idea of presenting Paulina Constancia’s "A Full Life!" Paulina made this collection to honor women (mothers & proxy moms alike) who so generously offer their lives to raise, care and inspire the next generation - the inheritors of the earth. She says, "the care of children is a full & multi-faceted life. No doubt it is demanding and exhausting, but it is also truly gratifying."

Paulina Constancia is an artist and poet with a penchant for experimentation. Her creative spirit delights in painting with acrylics as it does with words. She has exhibited her art and poetry in the Philippines, the Netherlands, Mexico and in various cities in the U.S. and Canada. Her artworks are part of distinguished private and institutional collections such as: schools, children’s hospitals, orphanages, health facilities, convents, community centers in the Philippines & other countries. A permanent collection of her works may be viewed at the PAULINA CONSTANCIA Museum of Naïve Art which will officially open sometime this year. The museum is part of the Cultural Stewardship Program of West Gorordo Hotel, an Essence & Permaculture-Inspired Hotel in Cebu, Philippines.

Paulina currently resides in Singapore with her husband and son. She actively creates art and conducts art therapy and workshops for women and children in the Asia-Pacific Region. For more info about the artist, please visit her website: www.paulinaconstancia.com
